Zadar

After three days in Zagreb, we picked up a rental car early Tuesday morning and started our drive south towards Dalmatia. Our destination that night was the city of Split, but we made a point to stop at Zadar to see the old town and its popular waterfront musical instrument, the Sea Organ.

The oldest continuously inhabited city in Croatia, Zadar was busy with tourists the day we visited. We spent a few hours touring its narrow streets and relaxing in a sidewalk cafe before continuing on our day’s drive.
