Usually shortened to KL, the bustling city is growing like mad and is home to a large number of expats.<\/p>\n<p>Although north of Singapore, the weather is hotter and more humid than what we experienced in the city state to the south. We&#8217;re adjusting, if slowly, but we&#8217;re happy that the city is full of so many air conditioned malls.<\/p>\n<p>Our Airbnb host has also acted as our guide. He&#8217;s taken us out on several city tours and shown us a lot of places we never would&#8217;ve found on our own.<\/p>\n<p>When on our own we&#8217;ve made good use of the varied public transport system (L-train, commuter rail, monorail).
