{"id":2478,"date":"2014-03-19T08:49:52","date_gmt":"2014-03-19T15:49:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kimandtodd.com\/wordpress\/?p=2478"},"modified":"2014-03-19T08:49:52","modified_gmt":"2014-03-19T15:49:52","slug":"kls-museums","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kimandtodd.com\/wordpress\/2014\/03\/kls-museums\/","title":{"rendered":"KL&#8217;s museums"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We toured a number of museums during our visit to Kuala Lumpur, but our favorites were the Museum of Islamic Arts and the National Museum of Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>The Islamic Arts museum was less a collection of art and more of a history lesson as told through the handicrafts of the region through the centuries. It&#8217;s also in a newly remodeled building with a number of nice architectural flourishes.<\/p>\n<p>The National Museum was surrounded by road construction but was still open to the public.
