Recently in the news because it was submerged for almost a week, the capital city of the Czech Republic was warm and dry when we visited in late June. A sight to behold, the classic Baroque city is full of friendly people and stunning architecture. It’s also very inexpensive. We like that part. We just hope they’re able to recover quickly from the heavy rains and flooding. It would be a shame that so much that survived WWII would fall victim to mother nature.
