On the second half of our day trip we made it out to Tirta Gangga Water Palace, which was a retreat built for a regional king (apparently Bali used to have a lot of kings). Some of the pools are still open for bathing, and during our visit we saw a few locals in one of the smaller pools soaping up and horsing around.
The grounds at the palace were beautiful and a bit of heavy rain didn’t distract from the scenery. Here’s a few pictures of what we saw in eastern Bali that day.
I went today with guest from LA , my guest love this place. Serenity and peaceful atmosphere really nice but feel annoyed with some people throw garbage (i.e plastic even baby diaper) in fish pond. Please respect this place when you enjoying them. Shame on you ….
