The area we stayed in Bali is named Canggu (chawn-goo) and is about an hour west of the island’s largest city of Denpasar (and the main airport).

We were about a ten-minute walk from the beach and in a quiet area surrounded by rice paddies. Each day we’d venture out a little farther and got to know the area pretty well. There was plenty to eat and do within a short walk. Here’s a little of what we saw when walking around our neighborhood.
