After three weeks in hot and humid Malaysia, and a total of almost two and a half months of hot weather from Australia to Indonesia to Singapore to Malaysia, we flew east to lush and temperate Taipei. We spent two weeks in Taiwan’s largest city and were thrilled to be in mild weather again.
Taipei is a dense, crowded city with many beautiful parks. Here’s a little of what we saw when we weren’t exploring the city’s streets.
I was in the taipei airport once, and I didn’t see a single caterpillar. However, a huge millipede fell into my lap while I was using a computer at an internet cafe in thailand. It was extremely startling.
When we fly out of here in two days I’ll keep a much closer look out for insects in terminal. I’m glad your survived the millipede incident in Thailand.
