Our penultimate stop was the Flemish city of Ghent in northwestern Belgium. We stayed here almost a week touring the old city and visiting with old friend Tom Plachecki and his wife Cindy, who just moved to nearby Mons, Belgium to work for NATO.

I did my best to sample as many Belgian beers as I could, and I wasn’t disappointed. But enough of that, click below for a view of what we saw during our time in Ghent.
