We left Zadar and continued south towards Split, Croatia’s second largest city. We stayed a short walk from the ancient center of town, much of which was built by the Romans and is still in excellent condition. We had our first local seafood at the restaurants here, and spent a full day wandering the old town’s narrow streets.
