Have you ever planned a day where you have lunch in one country and dinner in another? For our last day in Slovenia we drove west towards the coast to see the town of Piran. We toured its narrow streets and had lunch at a restaurant on the waterfront.

We then drove north to visit Italy and the city of Trieste. We wandered the busy central area and toured a few churches before settling down for dinner. It was a fine way to end the first half of the trip.
