We left Dubai early on a Wednesday morning and flew off to Amman, Jordan. Continuously inhabited for over 3,300 years, the city was known as Philadelphia when it was part of the Ptolemaic Kingdom in the third century BC.
These days it’s a busy metropolis of almost three million people. We spent our first few days in town walking through the busy streets and visiting the city’s automobile museum.
