For one of our trips outside of Salzburg, we took the train south to Hallein hoping to ride the 2,200-meter-long alpine slide. Unfortunately the weather failed to cooperate and instead we had to go deep underground into a former salt mine for entertainment.

Shortly after that we hiked to a waterfall outside the town of Golling.
