We left Goa to fly to Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan. Known as the “Pink City”, much of Jaipur was painted one color to welcome Albert Edward, Prince of Wales in 1876. Many areas of the city are maintained in the same shade to this day.

We stayed for three days and spent two of them touring around. On this first day, we roamed the central part of town and toured the main palace of the Rajasthani royal family.
