When researching for things to see and do on our trip, Kim learned about Birgufest. Located in the town just across the water from Valletta, the annual festival is known for the thousands of candles the residents light to decorate their houses and streets.
We ferried over from Valletta mid-afternoon and stayed until after dark. We wandered the streets and enjoyed the food, the decorations, and live music. The Maltese know how to light up a neighborhood for a good time.
