Tony Blair and the Labour party won another landslide during last Thursday’s elections. Voter turnout was considered low at 59% (wouldn’t that be a record in the US?). Here in Maidenhead there was a candidate from the Monster Raving Loony Party. He got fewer than 500 votes out of over 40,000, but at least he was in the mix promoting his ideas, whatever those might be.
