Madrid

After four days of sunny and warm Barcelona we paid a visit to hot and dry Madrid. Not as charming as its northern cousin, Madrid still had lots of wonderful Spanish life to offer. As long as we kept drinking our water, we had no worries as we wandered the busy streets of the Spanish capital.

We didn’t catch any bullfights, but we did eat loads of tapas, and one night we saw some live Flamenco dancing in the back of a wonderful restaurant. Since it was Spain, there were loads of people out on city streets after the show ended after midnight.
