Ok, so this really doesn’t have anything to do with life in the UK, but a few things are worth mentioning. One: The games were on live TV here, but since I work for a living I didn’t stay up from 1am to 4am to watch them. Thank God for the VCR. I taped most of them and I got up extra early for game seven. Two: As you may or may not know, our old buddy Jim Bochenek is director of the house staff for both the BOB and the AWA (well, he was director, as he recently got promoted. Way to go Jim) and was working during the games in Phoenix.
