Sometimes we pick a destination because we’ve always dreamed of visiting there, and sometimes we just check the specials and see what’s most affordable. For the August bank holiday we were able to land an inexpensive package trip to Germany’s capital city of Berlin. The deal included two nights stay at the five-star Swissotel on the busy Kurfurstendamm in the center of town. Needless to say, Kim’s hotel motto is rapidly becoming ‘the more stars the merrier’ or something to that effect.
