Back in late January we flew off to the Netherlands to visit American friends Scott and Kathleen. They live in the dutch city of Utrecht, which is about an hour train ride southeast of Amsterdam. We were joined by fellow UK residents Yvonne and Brian. We spent most of our time just relaxing and sharing stories of the expatriate lifestyle. Mother nature blessed us with several inches of snow (in both the UK before we left and in Holland when we arrived).
