Singapore has several excellent museums. We bought a 3-day pass that granted us entrance to the six most popular ones owned by the city, although we only made it to four in those 72 hours (our feet just weren’t up to the task). We set out to extend our Asian education and learned a lot of fascinating things.

Singapore became independent because Malaysia expelled them from their republic. So Singapore was the first country in the modern era to become independent against their will. Crazy, I know!
