Recently I retired my trusty Nikon D70 that I’ve owned for over eleven years and has traveled with me around the globe. As much as I loved that camera, it was starting to show its age and occasionally refused to take pictures. Luckily it survived our recent year-long trip, and I promised myself I’d get a new camera as soon as I was working steadily again.
About a month ago I picked up a larger than average freelance gig and earned enough to splurge on the new Nikon D7200. It sure is purty. Here are the first few worthwhile photos I’ve managed to take, all of which are within walking distance of our house.
