The Great Ocean Road

We set out early one morning and headed west to the Great Ocean Drive. The 150-mile road is a major tourist attraction and in some sections the traffic slowed our progress. In most places the road winds along the coast, but for one section it passes through a lush Eucalyptus forest.

We stopped at four different locations to park and sightsee. The primary draw is the limestone rock formations known as the Twelve Apostles. We also stopped for a nature walk, hoping to see some Koalas and Kangaroos in the wild.
